This year, the Department of Physics had two award winners during the 2022 University Fall Convocation.
Dr. Joseph Haley received the Distinguished Teaching Award which recognizes faculty who have shown unusually significant achievement in the instruction of students for an extended number of years. Dr. Haley received a $2,000 permanent stipend.
Sheri Orr received the Advising Excellence Award which provides institutional recognition for outstanding academic advising by faculty and staff.
