From 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 15, in the Student Union Ballroom, students in the Wentz Research Scholars Program and Purdie Research Scholars Program will present their undergraduate research projects.
Sponsored by the Lew Wentz Foundation, the 49 Wentz Research Scholars were selected to receive a $4,500 award based on their original research proposals and faculty support. The Wentz Research grant is available to students in any discipline.
The Neil Purdie Research Scholars program honors former chemistry faculty member Dr. Neil Purdie by enabling significant support for undergraduate research in the physical sciences (chemistry, physics and geology). Four recipients receive $6,500 scholarships for a full academic year of research in one of the designated fields. See the full article: HERE
From 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, the OSU Undergraduate Research Committee will host the first annual Undergraduate Research Symposium in the ConocoPhillips Alumni Center. This event will feature over 180 undergraduate students from multiple disciplines who will present their research and creative scholarship.
