Noble Chair for Laser Research

The Department of Physics invites Associate and Full Professors in the department to apply for the Noble Chair in Laser Research. The candidate should have a strong basic research program with expertise in lasers and electro-optics. The successful candidate would hold the endowed Noble Chair in the area of optical physics with use of research funds derived from the endowment. The Noble Chair of Laser Research is also expected to stimulate multidisciplinary research programs.

 

Qualified applicants should submit the following materials:

  • A full curriculum vitae
  • A brief statement of their current and planned research.  The statement should include how their research and the department/university will benefit from the funding provided by this position.
  • Arrange for three letters of recommendation from external references to be emailed directly to physics@okstate.edu with the subject “Recommendation for Noble Chair”
