This is a bugle made from a plastic mouthpiece, a piece of Tygon tubing, and a funnel. It is not the greatest instrument but workable. I use it mostly to demonstrate the Doppler effect, that eeeeeee-aaaaaahhhhhhh effect of sound depending on whether the source of sound approaches you (eeeeeee [high frequency]) or is going away (aaaaaahhhhhhh[low frequency]). This is accomplished by playing the Tugle while twirling it in a circle about your head. At least I can hear this for sound reflected from a wall.
